The Client
Enhance Health is an organization of health insurance experts that leverages digital technologies and a concierge experience to streamline the health insurance enrollment process. The company simplifies what is too often a time-consuming, overwhelming and confusing process by connecting users with best-in-class health insurance and Medicare plans in only a few minutes. Founded in 2021 through a partnership with and funding from Bain Capital, Enhance Health employs more than 600 people with projections to continue growing rapidly.
The challenge
With annual open enrollment looming, Enhance Health found themselves facing an enormous, temporary uptick in policy renewal processing that would require hundreds of additional, temporary agents. Adding complexity to this need, all agents needed to be properly licensed and they had to be onsite during the contract at Enhance Health headquarters where training and the renewal processing would take place.
The Solution
They contacted CTI Staffing and we mobilized our teams in multiple countries to immediately start sourcing, screening, submitting, and scheduling interviews within a matter of hours. The strategy included:
- Leveraging our vast network and candidate pool
- Posting ads across multiple platforms
- Searches spanning all available job boards
- Contacting user groups and industry networking groups
- Emailing every licensed insurance agent in the state
We quickly developed a system to filter and process potential candidates, enabling us to onboard dozens simultaneously. The Issues
Thursday before the start date for these candidates, CTI learned that all consultants would need to clock in and clock out and the time worked recorded. Further, the clock should only work when the consultant is onsite at Enhance Health headquarters. Within 24 hours CTI Staffing added a punch clock to StaffLynx, CTI’s proprietary time tracking system, and included an IP address confirmation component that would not allow a consultant to clock in unless they were connected to the Enhance headquarters IP address.
This feature was built, tested, and ready for release before the Monday start date, a mere 72 hours after CTI was notified of the requirement. We offer solutions and have the manpower to tackle unforeseeable situations.
The Outcome
Over the next few weeks, Enhance Health extended offers to 125 qualified candidates from CTI Staffing. CTI efficiently onboarded the candidates, completing all requisite paperwork and credentials, and scheduled their training and start dates. These consultants helped Enhance Health manage the massive inflow of renewal requests during open enrollment, and many were retained for additional projects after this phase concluded.
